Hillcrest Properties is a family owned business founded by Vincent A. Messina in 1973 and now operated by Daniel V. Messina. Mr. Messina has been working in real estate since 1993; he joined Hillcrest Properties in 1995 after working as an Asset Manager at MassHousing.

Dan Messina is an experienced real estate investment advisor and licensed broker in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. Mr. Messina holds a Master of Business Administration from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in accounting and finance.

Mr. Messina is a Certified Commercial Investment Member® (CCIM), Certified Property Manager® (CPM), Certified Occupancy Specialist, Realtor, Licensed Construction Supervisor and Notary Public. Mr. Messina has almost 20 years experience negotiating property sales and leases, managing rental property and analyzing commercial real estate investments.

Dan Messina has served on the Board of Directors of Work, Community, Independence (WCI) in Waltham and on the Sudbury Capital Improvement and Planning Committee. Mr. Messina is a member of the Waltham Rotary, Institute for Real Estate Management, National Association of Realtors, Massachusetts Association of Realtors, National Center for Housing Management, CCIM Institute and Greater Boston Real Estate Board.
